Where can I find parking?

There’s a parking lot across the street from the Lumberyard, with over one hundred spots, so you can park free of charge. Should our lot be full our friendly neighbors at the skate / dog park have space, as well as street parking.

Can I book a private event here?

We’d love it if you did. Feel free to drop us a note at inquiries@tvghospitality.com with the details of your event including the number of people, spaces preferred, date, and budget

If I have an event, what time am I able to start coming in to set up?

We know each and every event is different. As such your dedicated events manager will provide you with the information of how early you can arrive to begin setting up. We also understand the importance of being able to wrap your event up without feeling pressured or overwhelmed. As such, they’ll be able to confirm the amount of time needed to clean up before leaving the premises.

Do you serve food? Do you serve drinks?

We work with a wide network of caterers which are denoted in our preferred vendor list. If you have a different caterer in mind, please allow us time to meet with them before booking to ensure they are able to operate in our space.

We are able to serve alcohol at your event and offer flexible beverage packages ranging from open bar, to drink tickets, to creating your own special menu. Please note that we do not allow outside alcohol.

Can I rent only one part of the Lumberyard or do I need to book the entire space?

Each space within the Lumberyard will be available individually for rent. Currently, the spaces available are the Kiln and the Kiln patio / courtyard. If you’re looking for a larger takeover please get in touch and our events team will work directly with you to understand your event needs.

Do you book private events throughout the week or only on the weekend?

We know celebrations and gatherings happen every day of the week and not only on the weekends. As such, we’re available to book out on any day with weekdays having a lower cost.

Is the Lumberyard open daily?

Currently the Lumberyard is open for private events and activations only. We’ll be opening our doors for a full time operation shortly. Until then we’d be happy to host your event. To learn more about when we’ll be open to the general public daily, sign up for our mailing list.

I’m looking for a wedding venue; do y’all do weddings?

Yes! Our team will work with you leading up to your big day to align on food and beverage offerings and arrange any third-party vendors you’re working with to make sure everything is exactly how you’d like it on your big day.

I want to book a private event and I’ve gotten in touch - what happens next?

A member of our team will be in touch to collect a 50% deposit and work with you on ironing out all of the details of your event.

What forms of payment are accepted? Do you have ATMs on site?

We are a cashless venue and therefore do not have any ATMs on site. We accept all major credit cards and Apple pay on-site. For large-scale events we accept deposits via ACH transfer, credit card or check.

Is the Lumberyard kid-friendly?

While we welcome all at the Lumberyard, event organizers can choose if children are allowed to individual events, concerts or takeovers. Should little ones be on site we ask they’re supervised at all times.

What AV capabilities are there?

The Kilm AV capabilities include a PA system for background music, spoken word, and musical entertainment. At this time we don’t feature video capabilities on site but can work with our network of vendors to get what you need to make your event exactly as you’d like it to be.

Do I have to be 21+ to come in?

No way - all are welcome, regardless of your age. We do ask that adults keep an eye on their little ones while in our space and keep them clear of any alcoholic beverages that are accessible.

Can I smoke or vape?

We like our air clean, as such, we have designated areas for smoking or vaping, to avoid the entire venue being filled with smoke. We (and your lungs) thank you!

What assistance do you offer for those with disabilities?

You might notice we say ‘all are welcome.’ That’s not just an empty mantra - we’ve designed our space to ensure that all people are able to come through and enjoy their time here. We are a handicap accessible space (except for in The Terrace, Blue Bayou and Bridal Suite).

I’m an artist, community organizer, event planner or just have a great idea for an ongoing activation here - how do I get in touch?

Send our events team an email - we’ve got wizards who works behind the scenes to make sure all events run smoothly. They can be reached at inquiries@tvghospitality.com.
